Conqueror's

Conqueror's is a full-bodied, 4.4% ABV premium ale defined by its strong and distinctive character. It owes its rich chestnut colour to roasted barley, whilst its rounded bitter finish comes from the unique aroma of Simcoe hops. Striking a delicate balance between malty and fruity, Conqueror’s tastes just as good as it looks.

William the Conqueror ordered the construction of Berkhamsted Castle after defeating the Anglo-Saxons in the Battle of Hastings. His half-brother, Robert of Mortain, was given the duty of building the fortress and owned it for many years. Located just outside Berkhamsted station, this historic site remains a popular landmark of the town today.
